Enemalta is the main provider of electricity generation and distribution services in the Maltese Islands. 

The Company coordinates the dispatch of a number of grid-connected sources of electrical energy, including power plants, renewable energy installations and an Interconnector to Italy. It also manages, operates and maintains the national electricity grid and related distribution installations, whilst providing several electricity supply services to its commercial, industrial and domestic customers in Malta and Gozo.  

Throughout the years, the Company has been instrumental in pioneering new technologies to reach its corporate objectives. As it constantly adapts and upgrades its services and infrastructure to meet new energy demands, Enemalta’s services and operations are a crucial element in the social and economic development of the country.
