What does a typical day in your life look like?
I wake up at 6.45AM on work days. Nice freshly ground coffee, freshly squeezed grapefruit, lemon and orange juice, bread and butter, and I am ready to kick off the day. I head to our Chiliz offices in Gzira at around 8.30AM, where I am super happy to join our team. Not only our offices are spectacular, but our team is even more awesome, as much as the project that we are all working on: the Chiliz tokens and Socios.com fan engagement platform. My days at work vary a lot, but most of them are heavily geared towards strategy and growth of our Blockchain Campus. However, the goal is always the same: I work towards building the blockchain community in Malta and especially in our Campus. When I return home, I try to do some kind of sport, then cook and I often watch Netflix series when I am not out for dinner. I am usually in bed by 11PM latest.
What business issues are high on your agenda?
Trying to attract more inspirational start-ups to the Chiliz Blockchain Campus, organising blockchain events, round tables and meet-ups. I am also working on expanding the payments partnership network for Socios.com and building a collaborative network with international blockchain hubs and incubators.
What motivates you to get to the office in the morning?
I’m ambitious to make the Chiliz Blockchain Campus the top destination in Europe for blockchain entrepreneurs and build a strong blockchain community.
My favourite location: It's a secret spot in the south of the island which I have dubbed 'Chamberlain Creek'. You will never find it on maps, this place can only be reached by sea. It has turquoise water, a 50-metre-long narrow grotto where one can swim and get to a secret sandy beach.
My favourite local food: Crayfish
My favourite dining experience: Tarragon
My favourite nightspot: Valletta's small bars and cafes
