Gold medal for Marsovin’s Marnisi at the Challenge International du Vin

Marsovin has just been awarded a Gold medal for its Single Estate wine, Marnisi 2012 at the Challenge International du Vin at Bourg and Blaye, held just outside Bordeaux.

The Challenge International du Vin is a prestigious wine competition which Marsovin competes in from time to time. This year, Marnisi has been awarded nothing less than a Gold medal, after being assessed from an expert panel of judges. A total of 4212 wines from 34 countries have entered this competition.

Marsovin CEO, Jeremy Cassar, commented saying, “We are very proud with this outstanding result, since this wine competed against other premium wines and did very well. Professional wine tasters in France felt that the quality of this wine was worth a Gold medal. For us this result goes to strengthen and affirm the recognition of quality that this wine already enjoys in Malta and overseas.”

Marnisi is premium a D.O.K red wine blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot & Cabernet Franc grapes grown in Marsovin’s privately owned estate in Marsaxlokk. This Estate has just last year celebrated its 20 year anniversary and can now also be given the status of ‘OLD VINES’, another sign of quality.
