What does a typical day in your life look like?

Very busy, packed with meetings, but surely well planned.

What business issues are high on your agenda?

  • Delivering effective regulation in the public interest, by rolling out the new regulatory framework that shall shortly come into force in July 2018;
  • continue to build public and consumer trust;
  • keeping pace with new technologies and business models;
  • ensuring fairness and openness to consumers and maintaining market integrity.

Needless to say, international challenges being posed by scattered legislative instruments being proposed also deserve close scrutiny to ensure that legislators do not overburden the industry with unnecessary requirements.

What motivates you to get to the office in the morning?

Working with the Regulator of such a dynamic industry, where innovation is the rule of the day.
